ABOUT ESEA


The 21st English in Southeast Asia Conference is organized by the Linguistic Society of the Philippines and the Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines). It will be held on the 10th-12th of March 2022 in a wholly virtual format.

About the ESEA Conference Series

In 1996, the collaboration between NIE, NTU (Singapore), Unversiti Malaya, and UBD gave birth to the English in Southeast Asia (ESEA) Conference. The group of collaborating institutions has expanded to become truly representative of Southeast Asia and is making its presence felt amidst the challenges of the global pandemic.
